The Agafay Desert is one of the closest escape destinations from Marrakech, located just 35 km south of the city via the Amizmiz road. Unlike the sand dunes of Merzouga or Zagora, Agafay is a rocky, moon-like plateau — a stone desert that offers dramatic wide-open landscapes within an easy drive of the Medina.
Our private transfer takes you from your hotel or riad in Marrakech directly to your camp, glamping site, or restaurant in the Agafay area. The drive follows a straightforward route through the Atlas foothills, taking roughly 40 to 50 minutes depending on your exact pickup and drop-off points.
This is a transport-only service. You choose your activities in Agafay independently — sunset dinner, camel ride, quad biking, overnight camp, or simply watching the stars. We get you there and back, privately and on time.

Best time to visit: Agafay is spectacular at sunset. If you're going for dinner or a sunset experience, plan to arrive around 1 hour before sunset. In summer (June–August), sunsets happen around 8:00–8:30 PM — depart Marrakech around 6:30 PM. In winter (November–February), sunsets are around 6:00 PM — depart around 4:30 PM.
What to wear: Temperatures in Agafay can drop sharply after sunset, especially in winter. Bring a jacket even if it feels warm when you leave Marrakech.
For overnight stays: If you're staying overnight at a camp in Agafay, you'll need a return transfer the following day. Book both transfers at the same time and we can coordinate timing with your camp.
