Day-by-Day Program
Your private driver meets you each morning. Every stop is flexible — this is your trip.
Head north across the Haouz plain and up through the Settat plateau to Morocco's economic capital. Arrive in Casablanca for an afternoon visit to the Hassan II Mosque — the world's largest mosque outside Mecca, rising from the Atlantic seafront. Walk the Corniche promenade, explore the Art Deco architecture of the old French quarter and enjoy dinner in the city's excellent seafood restaurants.
Drive 90km north along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, Morocco's graceful royal capital. Visit Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V — a masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship. Explore the Chellah necropolis and its Roman ruins reclaimed by storks and oleanders. Walk the compact Rabat medina and the Kasbah des Oudaias, perched above the Bou Regreg river mouth.
Drive east to Fès, the intellectual and spiritual capital of Morocco. Fès el-Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the world's largest living medieval city — 9,400 narrow streets, 300+ mosques, and the world's oldest university. Visit the famous Chouara tanneries from a leather merchant rooftop, explore the Nejjarine Fountain and the ancient Bou Inania Madrasa. Stay overnight in a traditional riad inside the medina.
Drive northwest through the forested Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen — a city painted in every shade of blue. The entire medina glows with indigo, cobalt and sky-blue walls, staircases and doorways. Wander the Plaza Uta el-Hammam, climb to the Spanish mosque for the panorama, explore the cascading blue alleys at dusk and in the cool morning light. Chefchaouen is best experienced slowly — reserve the afternoon and evening to get completely lost.
Wake early to photograph Chefchaouen in the morning light before the day-trippers arrive — the blue alleyways are at their best at 7am. Then set off on the long transfer south. Option to stop at Asilah — a charming whitewashed Atlantic town famous for its painted murals and summer arts festival — en route back to Casablanca or Marrakech. Drop-off at your airport, hotel or train station.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely. We can start in Casablanca (day 1) and end in Marrakech after Chefchaouen, or build a circular route. The price stays the same. Just let us know your starting point when you book.
One full day gives you the key highlights — tanneries, Bou Inania Madrasa, the main souks and the major fountains. Two days is better if you want to explore the Jewish quarter (Mellah), Fès el-Jdid and the pottery cooperatives. We can adjust the pace if you want a longer Fès stay.
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are ideal — mild temperatures, clear light and manageable crowds. Summer sees more tourists but the high altitude keeps it cooler than the south. Arrive early morning to photograph the blue streets before they fill up.
Yes — the classic combination is north + south in a 10-day loop: Casablanca, Rabat, Fès, Chefchaouen (north) then back east and south to Merzouga desert and Marrakech. We offer this as our 10 Days Morocco Discovery Tour. Contact us to plan.
