Day-by-Day Program
Your private driver meets you each morning. All stops are flexible — this is your trip.
Head south from Marrakech through the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m) — the highest paved mountain road in North Africa. Descend into the pre-Saharan south for a stop at Aït-Ben-Haddou, the UNESCO-listed mud-brick kasbah used in Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and Game of Thrones. Then cut back north through Telouet Kasbah and the dramatic mountain road to Imlil village, gateway to the High Atlas.
Morning walk through Imlil village with its Berber gîtes and mule paths. Drive east to the Ourika Valley — a green valley of Berber villages following the Ourika river. If it's Friday, visit the Tnine Ourika market — one of the most authentic weekly souks in the High Atlas. Afternoon hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, a series of cascades hidden above the village.
Drive northwest through the foothills to Ouzoud Falls — Morocco's most spectacular waterfall. The 110-metre twin cascades plunge into a rainbow-misted pool surrounded by olive groves and Barbary macaque monkeys. Spend the afternoon hiking the viewpoint trails or taking a boat beneath the falls. Stay overnight near Ouzoud to catch the afternoon light.
Enjoy the falls one last time in the fresh morning light before Ouzoud fills with day-trippers. Drive back toward Marrakech through the Azilal hills and the Haouz plain. Arrive in Marrakech by noon — time for a medina lunch or a final wander through the souks. Drop-off at your riad, airport or onward connection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely. The driving scenery is the main attraction — you can admire the Atlas from the car, do short walks and enjoy the sites without any demanding hikes. The Ouzoud waterfall trail is easy and takes about 20 minutes. We pace the trip to suit your group.
April to June and September to November are ideal — mild temperatures, green valleys and good visibility. Summer (July–August) is warm but manageable at altitude. Winter can bring snow to the Atlas pass, which is spectacular but requires care. Ouzoud is most impressive in spring when water levels are high.
Yes — a popular combination is to do the Atlas Mountains tour first (days 1–4 returning to Marrakech), then start the desert circuit. We can build a custom 7-8 day itinerary combining both. Contact us on WhatsApp to plan.
Imlil is a high mountain village (1,740m) at the base of Toubkal, Morocco's highest peak — it has a trekking atmosphere and stunning panoramas. Ourika is a lower green valley (1,000m) following a river, with more Berber villages, markets and easy waterfall hikes. Both are included in this tour.
